Poor Knights of Windsor


      Yield: 4 servings

    -  2 c  Raspberries
    -3 T  Confectioners' sugar
   -  1 c  Heavy cream
   - 1/2 c  Sherry
    -  3    Egg yolks; lightly beaten
   -   6 sl Bread; going on to 8
           -crusts cut off, scratch in
           -triangles
    -  3 oz Butter; 6 Tbsp
   -   1 ts Cinnamon

  "I have never found out the descent  of this recipe or where its message
  comes from. However, it is particularly enjoyable because of the
  contrast along together then the hot toasted bread (which is same to the
  French toast) and the chilly raspberries and cream."

  Sprinkle the raspberries following confectioner's sugar, thrash them gently
  when a fork and let. Whip the cream until it is stiff. Place
  the sherry in one bowl and the lightly beaten egg yolks in out of the unnamed.
  Dip the bread slices first in the sherry and furthermore in the egg yolks.
  Melt the butter in a frying pan and into the future it is admiring, fry the bread regarding
  both sides until it is golden beige. Transfer the slices to a passionate
  dish and sprinkle each side gone a tiny cinnamon. Place a few of
  the raspberries upon each slice of the toasted bread and lid with than a
  dollop of cream. SERVES: 4-6
